While car versus bike challenges are usually devoid of significance, because they usually result in huge discrepancies one way or the other, this time it was different.
UK magazine Autocar pitted the exclusive and ridiculously expensive Ducati 1199 Panigale Superleggera against two of the three hybrid hypercars, but this time it didn’t feel pointless.
In fact, the bike proved more than a match for the McLaren P1 and Porsche 918. Ducati doesn’t even say exactly how much power it makes, solely stating it produces “over 200 hp,” but whatever the number is it results in a beast of a machine…
We won’t spoil the conclusion of the staged drag race, but let’s just say the video is worth watching (and maybe even re-watching).
