Photos of Ferrari’s upcoming LaFerrari XX (or FXX) getting ready to wear a new set of wheels at the Adria International Raceway in Italy have emerged online.
This track-focused version of the LaFerrari, which won’t be homologated for road use, follows in the footsteps of the Enzo-based Ferrari FXX with significant weight savings, aerodynamic enhancements and a re-tuned chassis and electronics.
Don’t expect any significant power improvements, as Ferrari officials have said it would be “hard” to extract any more ponies from the regular LeFerrari’s V12 hybrid powertrain that’s rated at 950hp.
In one of the provided photos, we see the modified, race-spec interior, but keep in mind that this is a development prototype, so the actual car that will arrive in select-customer hands early next year at around twice the cost of the standard LaFerrari, will be different.
