An all-new Mondeo was long overdue in Ford’s range, and while we already know what the model is like, we’re curious to see how it fares in Europe.
Tested here by Holger from Autogefühl (one of the first video reviews out there), the latest-gen Mondeo seems to fare extremely well, impressing the reviewer in every single area examined.
The stylish design we’re familiar with, the interior as well. What’s really new is the liftback body style, which would fool anybody into thinking it’s a sedan (bar the wiper), as well as the range of diesel engines. The tester was powered by the new 2.0-liter 180 PS unit that also drives the Focus ST diesel.
Not a lot of detail about how it fares is provided, but we’d expect it to be strong enough and actually make the big Mondeo feel somewhat spiritedly.
