Yep, the time has come for a face-to-face encounter between two of the most iconic nameplates on this side of the Atlantic: the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang vs. the 2015 Chevy Camaro.

The first online video test we’ve seen so far between the two archrivals comes from MT’s Head 2 Head with the presenters choosing the V8 versions equipped with their respective sports packages.

In particular, the sixth-gen 2015 Ford Mustang GT has a 435hp and 400 lb-ft 5.0-liter V8 and gets the $2,495 Performance Package, while the fifth-gen 2015 Chevrolet Camaro SS comes with a 426hp and 420 lb-ft 6.2-liter V8 and the $3,500 optional 1LE Performance Package.
