We won’t take this BMW M4 pickup rendering as something far-fetched, because we know something very similar exists, based on the M4’s predecessor. In fact, said modified E92 M3 also served a practical purpose, being able to carry 450 kg or 992 lbs in the back.
The rendering you see here, the creation of X-Tomi, is a sleeker interpretation of the formula. It’s actually more of an “M4 Maloo” than a chop shop chop job, which is what the white M3 looked like, with its abruptly ending B-pillar.
This modified M4, on the other hand, looks, well, like a production pickup, even if BMW would never ever build one by themselves. They could follow in the footsteps of Dacia and just ask a company to make it for them so that they don’t deal with the hassle… The question is, though, would there be a market for an M4 pickup that would sell at a higher price than the coupe, or any market at all?
