How do we know the Nissan Armada still exists? Nissan has just priced the 2015 version.
Introduced in 2004 (!), the Armada soldiers on largely unchanged save for new colors and new equipment. How delightful.
It actually is, because Arctic Metallic Blue and Magnetic Black sound like lovely colors. So does the addition of a standard power lumbar adjustment for the driver’s seat and new 20-inch wheels. That’s basically all you’re going to notice on the 2015 Armada, which ranges in price from $38,060 for a SV 4×2 all the way up to $53,330 for a four-wheel drive Platinum model, according to Nissan.
I haven’t seen a new Armada on the road in years, but it does sound like a relative bargain compared to what GM charges for a Tahoe or Yukon these days.
What’s really shocking is that they sold almost 15,000 of these things last year, and the Armada has been selling roughly similarly in 2014. Nissan is rumored to be redesigning this monster after the new Titan pickup on which it’s based is released, but in the meantime, they’re offering the buying public standard power lumbar. Fantastic.
