The orange turning signals we understand, but does Kia really have to insist on using chrome rims and accents for its North American models?
That’s probably the second tackiest idea since Lexus’ Gold editions from the 1990s…
Granted, they won’t be standard kit on all trim levels, but the fact that it chose this grade to preview the US-market 2016 Sorento is telling, wouldn’t you say?
After its European debut in Paris (in a more sophisticated look trim-wise), Kia’s all-new crossover will have its North American premiere at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show on November 18.
Kia said that the U.S. range will include five trim levels (L, LX, EX, SX and SXL), without providing further details. In Europe, the Sorento is available in both 5- and 7-seat versions and an engine lineup comprising two diesels (don’t expect to see those here) and a 2.4-liter gasoline petrol, which should also be on offer in North America.
