When it leaks, it pours; after the first brochure shots of the revised 2016 Mazda6 (and let’s not forget, the 2016 CX-5 too) leaked out, our friend Mitko pointed us to some additional images.
Shared on Ganbaremmc, they include a few more views of the subtly updated Mazda6 sedan and estate, both inside and out, together with a spec sheet that includes fuel consumption and prices.
It’s the JDM version of the Mazda6 that’s called Atenza, but the same or similar cosmetic revisions should make their appearance on the international model.
The changes are mild with the most evident ones being the new grille piece with a thicker chrome surround, the reshaped headlamps and a re-sculpted front bumper with more modern fog lamp openings. Images of the rear end are a bit on the fuzzy side, but it seems that Mazda added new tail lamp graphics and possibly tweaked the bumper as well.
Interior revisions appear to include the new standalone infotainment system that follows the look of the Mazda3 together with the redesigned upper section of the dashboard and center console.
Until we find out more, take a look at the new photos in the gallery below.
H/T to Mitko!
