BMW-tuner AC Schnitzer plopped out its aftermarket take on the new M4 Coupe at the 2014 Essen Motor Show in Germany today.
The Aachen workshop has given the M4 a performance boost of 79PS (78hp) under the hood, with the 3.0-liter turbo’d straight-six now delivering 510PS (503hp).
A new sports exhaust that will add a few more horses is currently under development and will be offered with either quad or two larger tailpipes finished in carbon fiber.
Customers can choose between a spring kit that drops the ride height by around 25 to 30mm at the front and 10 to 15mm at the rear, and a racing suspension adjustable in compression and rebound, including the lowering of 30-40 mm at the front and around 30 mm at the rear.
AC’s aerodynamics package includes carbon front spoiler elements, carbon rear diffuser, carbon mirror covers, rear roof spoiler, carbon rear wing and a rear skirt protective film, with the tuner also offering several alloy wheel designs in sizes up to 21 inches.
Finally, for the M4’s interior, the German brand has created aluminum pedal and foot rest sets, a key holder, gear knob with digital gear display, illuminated leather or aluminum “Black Line“ gear knob, aluminum “Black Line“ handbrake handle, aluminum cover for the iDrive controller and velour floor mats.
