Tensions were running high Wednesday when dozens of students protesting the Ferguson grand jury’s decision blocked I-5 at Nobel Drive in San Diego stranding and frustrating hundreds if not thousands of commuters.
One of the drivers was so irritated that he jumped out of his car and clashed with a protester, pushing him and grabbing his bullhorn – all this in front of a news reporter filming the incident.
The man who identified himself as Tyree Landrum, spoke to 10News. “I gotta go to Ross right now homie. If I don’t get there, I’m gonna get fired,” he told the reporter. “I got six […beeped off] kids to feed. I gotta get his car off the […beeped off]. Day goes on homie. […beeped off] get shot every […beeped off] day.”
California Highway Patrol and San Diego police officers arrived about half an hour later.
