The Porsche Macan is probably the best sporty crossover on the market. It offers the sharpest handling, but can deal with some off road, especially if you have the air suspension, and it can be both comfortable or bone-jiggling when high speed cornering is on the agenda and tarmac is smooth.

KBB gave it the usual through once over, and they really struggled to find anything wrong with it, other than the ridiculous price you can bring it up to with options (especially for a crossover its size).

You can easily pay more than you would for the larger Cayenne, if you’re not careful, and an Audi SQ5 beats the Macan S to sixty and undercuts it on price too.

Also, you must specify PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) which allows you to tailor the car’s on-road behavior. It’s standard on the Macan Turbo and optional on all lesser variants, though it definitely one option you should look to tick to get the most out of your Macan.
