The design of the Mercedes S-Class Coupe looks really busy compared to the smooth, simple lines of the Audi Prologue concept, here turned into a production model by X-Tomi.
Yes, the Mercedes is still pretty nice to look at, but it just seems like it’s trying too hard compared to the Audi.
This rendered interpretation of what the Audi could look like in production form doesn’t change the look of the motor show study much. We don’t know if the manufacturer will put it into production as a two-door, although we do know it will heavily influence the look of the upcoming A8 flagship.
Either way, it’s a sign that Audi has finally understood what people have been moaning about in regards to the way they design/style their cars. This Prologue doesn’t stray much from their tried and true formula, but just adds that extra dose of emotion that was missing – the blue paint job of the rendered “A9” posted below sets it off nicely too…
