A window washer has a Toyota Camry to thank for being alive after he fell 11 stories, or more than 100 feet, Friday in downtown San Francisco.
The man, who has not been identified, was conscious when paramedics arrived and currently remains in critical, but stable condition.
No doubt, the 2000s Toyota Camry owned by Mohammad Alcozai, who was inside the car at the time of the accident, but luckily, was not injured, softened his fall.
Physics professor Paul Doherty told San Francisco broadcaster KCBS that, “the fact that the man landed on a car that could crumple likely had a lot to do with it” comparing it to “movie stunt workers who land on piles of cardboard or mattresses”.
