Carbuyer’s Mat Watson drove a V40 Cross Country equipped with the 2.0-liter 190hp engine and was satisfied with the its punchy response, as well as the car’s comfortable ride and raised driving position.

Watson also believes the £1,000 premium over a standard V40 is not worth paying, as all you get is the plastic body cladding and raised ground clearance. Scroll down to find out what else the tester had to say about the V40 Cross Country.
