Mini’s booth at this year’s Essen Motor Show will be dedicated to John Cooper Works, which has developed tuning parts and accessories for both the Mini Hatch and the 5-Door.
The John Cooper Works Pro design line includes accessory options that have been specially created for these two models. Additionally, new retrofit components in the areas of drivetrain, aerodynamics and interior will debut at the show. Mini will also showcase the Vivid Green design line, which allows selective customization of the brand’s core model.
Mini will bring a Hatch fitted with extensive John Cooper Works Tuning and John Cooper Works Pro accessories to showcase the racing side of the brand, while a second Hatch will exemplify the design line Vivid Green.
The tuning products from John Cooper Works enhance both the styling and performance of the Mini Hatch. The model to be on display in Essen is fitted with a John Cooper Works Tuning Kit that increases engine output, including a controllable flap for the exhaust silencer. Tailpipe covers, a John Cooper Works carbon air inlet cover and Jet Black 18-inch John Cooper Works light alloy wheels in cross spoke design complete the exterior changes.
The same car also features accessories from John Cooper Works Pro design line including JCW Pro rear spoiler and rear diffuser with lateral splitters and fins. Other exterior accessory products include the exterior mirror caps, the side turn indicator surrounds known as side scuttles, the Black Line decorative rings for headlamps and rear lights, the roof flag and the side decor set with flag motif and the start number 37 – famous from the World Rally Championship.
As for the model featuring the Vivid Green design line, accessories include rich green accents such as the roof graphic and side stripes, turn indicator surrounds and exterior mirror caps against a black background. Inside, vivid green accents include illuminated entry sills, an interior mirror cap, textile floor mats, sunblind elements for the rear side windows and rear window and a universal protective cover in the same style.
