FCA’s official tuning and customization division Mopar isn’t wasting any time with the 500X releasing a boatload of styling accessories well before the small CUV’s market launch next year.
Mopar had two customized version of the 500X fitted with all sorts of components on hand during Fiat’s media presentation of the car at Balocco Proving Grounds.
The first one is based on the rugged Cross version sporting a three-coat Amore Red body with Mopar mirror covers, door molding inserts and bonnet and roof stickers that will be available under the ‘White Pack’ kit, plus new 18-inch wheels and a boot organizer.
The other car is a regular 500X in a Greyge paintwork featuring Mopar’s “Chrome Pack” with chrome-plated mirror covers, door molding inserts, fog light and grille trims, along with special mats and 18-inch alloy rims.
All in all, Mopar says it has designed more than 100 exclusive accessories for the new 500X, ranging from body trims and decals, to alloy wheels, roof boxes and systems for transporting winter and water sports equipment.
