Having recently taken care of the Quattroporte, Novitec’s next order of business is Maserati’s more petite and sportier Ghibli sedan.
Through its Maserati-specific Tridente arm, Novitec offers a power upgrade for both diesel and gasoline engines with prices starting from EUR 1,290 MSRP (US$1,615).
The package gives the Italian market-specific 3.0-liter V6 turbo diesel a 51PS (50hp) boost from 250PS (247hp) to 301PS (297hp), while the 275PS (271hp) version of the same diesel unit produces 322PS (318hp), cutting the Ghibli’s 0-100km/h (62mph) time from 6.3 seconds to 5.6 seconds.
On the twin-turbo V6 gasoline-powered Ghibli S, Novitec’s kit adds 67PS (66hp) and 90Nm lifting output from 410PS (404hp) and 590Nm to 476PS (469hp) and 640Nm respectively, allowing the all-wheel drive S Q4 version to hit 100km/h (62mph) in 4.4 seconds and top out at 294 km/h (183mph).
Elsewhere, the tuner offers 22-inch wheels in silver, matt black, titanium or polished titanium finish (starting from EUR 3,980 or US$4,980) shod in P Zero high-performance tires size 255/30 ZR 22 front and 315/25 ZR 22 rear, a 35mm lowered adjustable suspension, and a clear-coated carbon-fiber aerodynamic package.
