You might think they do, but premium carmakers never really run out superlatives. When Rolls Royce presented the Wraith coupe at the 2013 Geneva show, it described it as the brand’s most powerful and fastest production car ever. But that was last year…
Our 007 spies caught Rolls Royce engineers testing a seemingly normal Wraith in Germany, however, a closer look reveals an apron sitting on the lower end of the front bumper and a rear spoiler nestled on the coupe’s curvy boot.
We can only speculate for now, but there’s a chance Rolls Royce is preparing a juiced up, special edition of the Wraith similar to the Ghost V Spec that carried a 30hp bump over the regular model.
Together with the styling kit that may include more parts than what we see on this prototype, a sportier Wraith could also get a firmer suspension and more ponies than the regular 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 that delivers 624hp (633PS) 800Nm of peak torque.
We’ll keep you posted if we hear anything new.
