Scion will be revealing two new production models at next year’s New York auto show, in the hopes of rejuvenating its dusty range. One will be the a production-spec iM concept which was teased (though, not revealed) in October.
We already know what the iM concept will be, a rebadged and slightly restyled version of the European Toyota Auris. What don’t know is whether it’s the hatchback or wagon variant. It’s set to be revealed in concept form this November at the LA Auto Show.
According to Car&Driver, the second car will also be a model from Toyota’s Euro range, and they present the Aygo (pictured with a Scion badge) and Verso as prime candidates; to us, the funky former seems like the logical choice…
It’s suggested that it may also be a Scion variant of the Toyota Urban Cruiser – it’s basically the same car as the xB but with optional all-wheel drive offered. Apparently, even in this size/price bracket it’s a desired feature – it would be the first all-wheel driven Scion.
