Did you know that mechanophilia, or the sexual attraction to machines such as cars, motorcycles and even helicopters and airplanes, is considered a crime in some countries, including, the UK, with perpetrators placed on the sexual offenders register?
It’s just one of the weird things from our world.
We’re not sure how Seat came up with the idea, but they created what we assume to be a mecanophiles dream car made completely out of lace with jewel trim embellishment to promote the UK availability of their new Mii by MANGO edition.
Seat says it’s the world’s first fabric car, but BMW and their Gina concept might have something to say about that claim.
Eight people led by designer Ashley Joiner built the racy Mii in three days at a London studio using some 45m of nude coloured cotton lace, 25kg of resin to set the lace, 10m of black cotton lace to build four 3D alloy wheels and 70m of lace trimming with jewel embellishment.
