The new Skoda Octavia III in Combi or Estate form is one of those honest mid-size cars that gets the work done without much fanfare.
You can even have it in a tad spicier flavor with the vRS model that’s offered in both gasoline and diesel variants.
The diesel won’t blow your mind out, but it will give you that extra punch without emptying your pockets at the gas pump.
Now, if you want more, you can always go the tuning route like German aftermarket brand Mcchip-Dkr’s package for the new Octavia Combi vRS Diesel.
It starts with an €849 ECU upgrade boosting the 2.0-liter four-pot from 184PS (181hp) and 380Nm to 215PS (212hp) and 415Nm, and continues with a €179 30mm lowered sports suspension and a €1,590 19-inch black alloy wheel and 225/35 tire combo.
Optionally, you can get the foil wrap seen on the display model, obviously, without the promo wording.
