You didn’t think that Steeda would stop at cat-back exhausts, filters and wheel upgrades for the new 2015 Mustang, did you?
That was just a small sample of what’s about to come, with the Ford tuner previewing its new lineup of Q-Series performance goods for the sixth generation Mustang, just ahead of the SEMA aftermarket show on Tuesday.
Engine tunes start with small upgrades to the naturally aspirated V8 lifting output from 435hp (441PS) to 480hp (487PS), before entering the “power package” phase with 650hp (659PS) and 775hp (786PS) options – we assume these kits will entail the use of a supercharger (the tuner didn’t say).
Steeda said the tuned Mustang’s power levels will be accompanied by “a precision-engineered Steeda G/Trac suspension and chassis modifications” as well as a raft of exterior components, as previewed in the single press photo below, including a front lip spoiler, side skirts and deck-lid spoiler.
