Peugeot makes the 508 estate which in turn spawned the 508 RXH, a raised, crossover variant that’s also a hybrid and all-wheel drive.
If that same treatment were to be applied to the smaller 308 SW (estate), the resulting vehicle would not at all differ from the rendered interpretation posted here, courtesy of X-Tomi.
And you know what, it actually looks pretty good, building on the already appealing aesthetic of the regular 308 wagon. It gets usual plastic cladding and taller ride height, though it seems very unfeasible for Peugeot to make the effort to give it the full hybrid system (and make it all-wheel drive).
Were it to be made, it’d go up against the Skoda Octavia Scout and Seat Leon X-Perience, though both these hypothetical rivals come with all-wheel drive. The Peugeot would be cheaper, though, and probably be fitted with some form of terrain response system, like the 2008 and 3008 get.
