Audi’s Prologue Concept unveiled at the LA Auto Show is definitely more impressive when seen on the street than on the show floor.
How do we know that? Well, the folks from Germany’s Auto Bild magazine had the extraordinary privilege of driving the luxurious coupe concept on the streets of Los Angeles and film the experience.
The Prologue really looks classy and I hope it previews a proper two-door coupe to take on Mercedes’ S-Class Coupe. Speaking of which, I can’t help but notice how complicated and “eager to please” the S-Class Coupe’s design is compared to the elegant and flowing shape of the Prologue study.
You’ll find everything there is to know about the study from the following video, provided you turn on the subtitles and select English for the translate captions.
One more thing before I leave you with the video: the Prologue’s 605PS 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 features a different exhaust system than Audi’s production models, resulting in a sound worthy of an American muscle car. This obviously means you have to watch it with the volume up.
