Alfa Romeo was among the manufacturers that had announced they were going to provide a model as part of the Vision Gran Turismo series of projects. It even offered a sketch of its entry and its name was listed on the official GT site, and yet now it’s been removed, along with said sketch.
GT Planet now reports that not only was it removed from the site, but also from the game menu, as part of the latest update released.
It’s a shame to see Alfa Romeo couldn’t even dedicate the time to create something spectacular – they’ve only shown concepts in recent years, but pretty much all of them have been stunning, so it surely is a loss for the game.
No reasons for the decision were given, and we’re left to speculate as to what caused them to announce they were in but eventually pull out. Is the automaker really that short on resources, especially now when it makes so few cars it doesn’t even register?
