Looks like the United States Patent and Trademark Office just got a little busier thanks to this new application from the Blue Oval.
The application was filed by Ford on December 22nd, under Goods and Services for Automobiles and Automobile engines. We can’t be sure what it means exactly or when they’ll come out and use it on one of their engines, but chances are that ‘EcoBeast’ will indeed see the light of day on one of their very powerful models such as the F-150 Raptor or its successor.
The good news is that the North American International Auto Show in Detroit is coming up soon and Ford will be there unveiling the Shelby GT350R, and perhaps a new GT, a new F-150 Raptor and a new Focus RS with AWD.
Either way, we agree. EcoBeast sounds awesome!
