Instead of regurgitating the performance numbers for the Koenigsegg Agera R, we’ll limit ourselves to saying it’s impossible to stretch its legs anywhere but on the autobahn.
That’s the only place where you can even dream of getting close to the car’s top speed of 420 km/h or 261 mph.
By the looks of it, it doesn’t need all that much room to get close to its peak speed, as it takes mere seconds for it to reach 340 km/h / 211 mph in the video below. It doesn’t accelerate from a standstill, but even from 200 km/h / 124 mph, it’s mind-bendingly fast.
It’s clearly pulling some mad longitudinal g-forces under hard acceleration, even from a rolling start – you can see the two occupants being pushed back into their seats and the camera rock back with the motion.
