We are big fans of the Aventador’s styling, with all the wedges and creases somehow merging into a cohesive, sexy bodywork worthy of the extravagance that’s the hallmark of Lamborghini supercars.
It seems that the low, wedgy front end of Lambo’s range topping model has proven something of a double-edged sword: in a rear-end collision it has managed to slip under a Mercedes-Benz GLK’s underbody so far that the rear wheels of Merc’s SUV are up the Aventador’s windscreen.
The incident, according to GTSpirit, took place at the traffic lights of a street in Nanning, Guanxi. For some reason, the driver of the Aventador failed to use the car’s carbon ceramic disc brakes properly so he ended up facing the GLK’s underside.
From the looks of it, no one seems to be injured as the Lamborghini’s carbon chassis held up quite well, though the people in the Merc must have had quite a shock.
