It’s been a busy year for Lamborghini, what with the launch of the Huracan LP 610-4, which replaces its best-selling model ever, the Gallardo, and the Asterion concept, a showcase for its first-ever hybrid powertrain.
Then there were the racing activities, like the Lamborghini Super Trofeo, and the launch of the Gallardo racer replacement, the Huracan LP620-2 – a car that will probably form the basis for a rear-wheel drive version of the “baby Lambo” down the road. Even in its all-wheel drive form, though, the Huracan has been a hit, posting 3,000 sales in just 10 months.
Yet, for all the stress the company was under, it was voted the Top Employer in Italy for 2014. Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelman commented that “every model that leaves Sant’ Agata Bolognese [i.e. Lamborhini’s factory] has to be a visionary” and the supercar maker wants to “deliver the unexpected”.
As 2014 draws to an end, Automobili Lamborghini wanted to wish everyone happy holidays. So it made a video with this year’s highlights, and you can see it after the jump.
