If you loved last year’s Alfa Romeo 4C Spider study, then you’ll be happy to know that the production car remains virtually unchanged some very minor tweaks.
After an initial batch of photos the other day, new images and a video have emerged from Spain where Alfa Romeo is shooting the production 4C Spider’s first promotional film.
As Andreas pointed out in our previous post, the two main differences over the 2014 Geneva motor show concept are the twin regular tailpipes positioned on the corners of the rear diffuser instead of the central mounted titanium and carbon fiber outlets, and the addition of extra intakes ahead of the rear fender.
The 4C Spider is more of a targa model than anything else featuring a removable lightweight canvas section above the passenger compartment. Otherwise, it’s identical to the coupe getting its power from a 237hp (240PS) 1.75-liter turbocharged four that drives the rear wheels through a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The word on the street is that Alfa will choose the 2015 Detroit motor show in January for the world premiere of the production 4C Spider.
