Kia has tried to soften the blow for those looking for but not necessarily being thrilled about having to own a van-like people carrier.
Their new Sedona is stylish, well built, practical and packed with tech, and according to KBB it’s almost fun to drive too.
The exterior is a big improvement over its predecessor, and while it’s not the most striking to look at in its class (that award goes to Nissan’s Quest), it’s pleasant to behold. Inside is even better, with plenty of kit and tech and soft-touch plastics – you can even get some fancy optional second-row seats that really up the luxury factor; they can be slid forward and back, as well as to the side.
As for the driving experience, it’s better than what you’d expect from something of this size/bulk. There’s plenty of poke from the 3.3-liter V6 engine, although it only really wakes up above 4,000 rpm.
