Mazda has opened the UK order books for its new “2” supermini that’s priced from £11,995 to £17,395 with first deliveries scheduled for early next year.
To mark its arrival in Britain, Mazda has created a special Sports Launch Edition of the sub-compact hatch powered by an 89hp (90PS) 1.5-liter petrol engine priced at £14,995 OTR.
It comes equipped with navigation, 16-inch alloys, privacy glass, dusk-sensing lights, rain-sensing front wipers, rear parking sensors and standard Metallic, Mica or Pearlescent paint.
The other three available engines in the range are the 74hp (75PS) and 113hp (115PS) versions of the 1.5-liter Skyactiv-G petrol, and the 104hp (105PS ) 1.5-liter Skyactive-D diesel.
There are five trim grades named SE, SE-L and Sport, with the last two offering the option of a navigation system that works through the infotainment system that has a 7-inch touch-screen combined with a rotary Multimedia Commander on the lower console.
