Despite an exorbitant price tag, the very limited production Porsche Panamera Executive Exclusive Series totally sold out in just 48 hours. And it’s probably just the start.
According to Autocar, Porsche is enthused by the success of this Panamera Turbo S Executive with every option in the very extensive book and its nearly €250,000 price (about US$312,000 at today’s exchange rates) in Germany.
Just 100 of the vehicles were made following its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show last month. The Exclusive Series cars were available in a special hand-painted metallic black with a dark brown inset running down the middle. They were also fitted inside with Nappa leather upholstery everywhere and 10.1-inch screens for rear seat passengers.
A Porsche exec told the British magazine they’ve seen the market for these cars and says there’s more coming in the future. Which is a smart move. It’s a Porsche where all the option boxes are ticked for you, which is less work for rich people to do.
