Smart’s upcoming ForTwo Brabus was shot down by our spy photographers wearing nothing but plastic wraps around the edges of its bumpers.
This prototype is very close to the production model that will follow next year, possibly at the Geneva motor show in March, featuring a rear diffuser with a twin pipe setup, bigger wheels and a chin spoiler.
By the time it becomes official, it should gain side skirts, production alloy wheels, a roof spoiler and very likely, a more aggressive optional aero kit.
Under the hood, the Brabus-badged ForTwo should get 120 to 130hp from either a tuned version of the turbocharged three-cylinder 0.9-liter unit or Renault’s bigger 1.2-liter engine.
A modified suspension and a uniquely trimmed interior with sport seats will also be on the menu.
