It’s still a Lancia-based design, just not an actual Group B rally-spec model. The underpinnings used are from a 1977 Montecarlo, but the end result is really quite convincing.

Chances are it’s probably not a perfect replica, but it will probably fool anybody but a brand aficionado who will immediately spot everything out of place with it.

It should work as a road car too – it comes with a modest 131 hp 2.0-liter engine which we assume is a stock(-ish) unit that could be helped by additional modifications (like fitting a supercharger to hark back to the original rally machine).

We really like this replica/kit and even if it’s not the real thing, we’d definitely like to take this particular car for a spin, even if it sounds underpowered.

The only problem would be the price which is €31,000 or roughly $38,600. Check out the full ad for the car on autoscout24.
