If you’re in the market for a cool looking new Mazda, it’s safe to say you can rejoice. The Tokyo Auto Salon 2015 is just around the corner (January) and it’s going to be pretty Zoomed out.

The Tokyo Auto Salon (tuning/aftermarket) is not to be confused with the regular Tokyo Motor Show, and seen as though Mazda couldn’t have waited until late 2015, they decided to come out and show us what they’ve been working on.

For starters, there will be a track version of the new MX-5 roadster which looks fantastic, and it’s sure to be great fun to drive both on and off the track. Not to be outdone, the lowered version of the CX-3 is something that will surely catch your eye because it might actually be the coolest car there. The CX-3 was presented by Mazda at the Los Angeles Auto Show. What makes it stand out is the lowered height, the fresh body kit and the blacked out rims.

The Mazda2 supermini will also be present, disguised as the Demio Racing Concept, featuring the same body kit and color mix as the CX-3, as will the Axela 5-door (Mazda3). The Sedan version of the Axela will be rocking red paint with grey lateral body stripes on its front and rear fenders as well as the doors.

As for the Mazda6 (Atenza) and the CX-5 (compact SUV), they will be featuring gorgeous black paint, subtle brushed elements and dark grey alloy rims. By the looks of it, they should make it into production as top-spec or limited edition models. Hopefully not just on the local market.

The Tokyo Auto Salon will open its gates between January 9th and the 11th, 2015.
