Since VW has confirmed it will build a second-generation CC four-door coupe based on the all-new Passat, it was only a matter of time before Photoshop illustrators started envisioning the upcoming CC.
Using styling cues from the new VW Passat, Hungarian designer X-Tomi has imagined what the next-generation CC will look like.
The result is really hard to distinguish from the new Passat, with only minor styling changes being applied. These include the slightly revised window line on the rear door, smaller fog lamps and tail-lamps that extend more to the sides of the vehicle.
The grille features thicker horizontal bars, and there’s also an additional strip in the lower grille. There may be more changes than those I could spot, but I honestly hope that VW will do more to differentiate the upcoming CC from the Passat, despite its propensity for conservative design.
