The Aston Martin V8 Vantage N430 (called GT in the US) is currently the closest thing to a racing car in the company’s Vantage lineup, but that is about to change soon.
That’s because Aston Martin will unveil a more radical street-legal Vantage GT3 model at the Geneva Motor Show, derived directly from the V12 Vantage GT3 racer. The automaker has released a first teaser video of the new car, and the link to the V12 Vantage GT3 racing car is very clear.
The video shows the V12 Vantage GT3 racer at full attack on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and ends with a sketch of the street-legal model that allows us to spot a giant rear wing and a more aggressive front end featuring a redesigned bumper and engine hood.
No official details were offered, but we hear the Vantage GT3 will be Aston Martin’s most extreme road car ever made, with a power output of around 600 hp – about 35 hp more than the V12 Vantage S.
