In spite of what many people think, there’s really no recipe for success in an automotive website like Carscoops. When we post a story there’s no way of knowing how you, the readers, may respond to it.
Sure, after a decade in the fickle and ever-changing arena that is the World Wide Web, we do have a feeling for what might interest people. It’s also true that we try to cover the automotive world from every aspect. In the end, though, it’s you who click your mouse, trackpoint or touchscreen on whatever you fancy.
At the end of each year, we go through our posts and see which ones had the most hits. Nothing new here, everyone does it and it would be foolish not to. After all, numbers don’t lie; at least, in this occasion they don’t.
Usually, we (and most others) do a Top 10. This time, we decided, out of a whim, to see which were our Top 14 stories, the year being 2014. You can see our most popular posts for the past year by scrolling down the page.
