We expect the next Chevy Camaro to retain the same familiar design traits that make it instantly recognizable, but make them seem fresher with a more modern (probably Corvette Stingray-like) look. At the moment, we really don’t know what it’s going to look like, although GM did appear to tease it at the Detroit auto show.
It was one of the five blacked out cars used as background image for one of their presentations at the show. It’s not at all clear, but the outline of a Camaro-esque shape is clearly visible.
The guys over at Camaro6 and CamaroNews posted a slightly enhanced version of the cropped photo, but it’s still hard to make out any details.
Even so, it’s clear that the Camaro look we know and love is staying and we expect the main novelties to be the styling details, better interior quality and design, better handling and more efficiency from its engines – the usual incremental evolutionary approach that’s so common nowadays.
