Those were the words used by GM CEO Mary Barra to describe the new compact EV by Chevrolet. The Bolt has neither been confirmed for production nor denied, but it’s a bit too eerily similar to a BMW i3 for them to not be seriously considering it.
It looks like a close to production model too, or it looks like one now that the line between concepts and series models has been blurred. I mean, that interior looks fully-functional and could probably see production with minimal changes – it’d be in the same design league as the posher i3, although positioned a bit further downmarket.
With a prophesied range of around 200 miles or 320 km, a big airy and roomy interior and futuristic design, the Bolt could be a hit for an estimated price of $30,000.
