A male elephant became a bit of a nuisance to visitors at the Khao Yai National Park in Thailand this past Sunday (Jan 11) when it began…rubbing its behinds on cars
Amateur footage caught the pachyderm walking into traffic on a road inside the park and then scratching itself on a Mercedes-Benz before sitting on its hood.
Shortly after, it moved on to another vehicle, first rubbing up against the front end of the silver sedan, and then stepping on it, causing damages. We can only imagine what was going inside the heads of the driver and passengers…
On Monday, a different elephant damaged a grocery store in the area. No one was injured in either incident.
According to park officials, the elephants may have developed some stress due to the mating season.
