Here are the first scoop shots showing the interior of Renault’s new compact SUV that will replace the aging Koleos in Europe and other markets.
The new model, which still doesn’t have a name, is built around the latest Nissan Qashqai crossover utilizing the same platform and diesel and gasoline powertrains. It will also offer the option of all-wheel drive.
From these pictures, the only visible common interior parts with the Qashqai are the dual-zone climate controls, with the Renault model gaining its own bespoke dashboard and lower console.
The outside is mostly hidden, but we can still make out Renault’s sculpted front and rear ends.
The addition of the Captur crossover in the French firm’s range has allowed Renault to increase the dimensions of the compact SUV that’s expected to offer some practical solutions inside such as foldable seats.
Renault’s new SUV should be introduced before the end of the year.
