After its world debut in Paris last October, Infiniti’s new QX70S Design edition has landed in Britain where it’s on sale now.
Prices start from £49,620 for the diesel model powered by a 235hp (238PS) 3.0-liter V6, rising to £49,775 for the 316hp (320PS) 3.7-liter V6 petrol. The UK won’t get the 385hp (390PS) 5.0-liter V8 petrol engine that’s offered elsewhere in Europe.
Dark chrome is the key exterior highlight of the QX70S Design as it’s used on the grille, fog light surrounds, side air scoops, side sills and rear number plate surround. In addition, the big SUV gets smoked headlamps along with a black finish for the 21-inch alloy wheels, roof rails and mirror caps.
The S Design treatment continues on the inside with black lacquer finish on the centre console and purple stitching for seats, steering, wheel, armrest and door trims, while the equipment features are borrowed from the S-Premium model.
