The recently unveiled Lexus GS F performance sedan didn’t only get a more powerful powertrain but significant styling changes as well compared to the standard GS on which it is loosely based.

The RC-inspired headlights are the most striking design change, and standard GS models may receive them as well when the time comes for a facelift.

In its current form, the Lexus GS has already been present on the market for three years, which means a makeover should not be too far off.

Photoshop artist Remco Meulendijk believes the facelifted GS will borrow styling cues from the GS F, including the new headlights and taillights, as well as the oversized spindle grille.

Overall, the renderings of the facelifted Lexus GS don’t look out of place at all, although I think that’s what GS F Sport models will look like. The standard GS will probably get a less aggressive body kit.
