This here is the MEC Design Cerberus wide body kit and either way you look at it, it makes this Convertible E500 Mercedes-Benz seem like it’s hiding around 1,000 hp under the bonnet.
Unfortunately, this Brabus-like Merc doesn’t have any additional power despite looking like it could swallow your 911 whole. The purely aesthetic changes feature 20-inch meCCon alloy wheels, the “Cerberus” kit, a front lip spoiler, rear diffuser, side panels/fenders rear attachments, side skirts (optional with LED lights), 5 piece rear spoiler and a MEC Design 4 pipe muffler with the “Earthquake” sound version.
Inside there’s Piano black inserts with MEC Design logos and a custom sports-steering wheel, also with Piano black trim as well as Alcantara – with which you really can’t go wrong whenever you’re looking for extra grip.
However the logos kind of make the whole cabin a little kitschy, even though again, the steering wheel looks very good.
The only mechanical modification is the suspension adjustment, which you have to have. We just wish the car had a little (or a lot) something extra in terms of power and torque. Overall, the tuning package is available not just for the Convertible E Class but for the Coupe as well.
