For the first time in the Mustang’s 50-year long history, Ford’s pony car is officially available in the UK where it goes on sale in right-hand drive.
Buyers can choose from two powerplants, a 310hp (314PS) 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost four that’s priced from £28,995 and a 412hp (418PS) 5.0-liter V8 that starts at £32,995. The 3.7-liter V6 is not available in Britain.
The new 2015 Mustang is offered in both coupe (fastback) and convertible body styles, as well as the choice of 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmissions.
All models come fitted as standard with 19-inch wheels, a performance brake package, automatic HID xenon headlamps, LED tail lamps, and a rear diffuser, while on the inside, you get dual-zone climate control, a nine-speaker sound system, and SYNC 2 voice control connectivity with an eight-inch colour touch screen.
On the options list you’ll find climate control seats and 19-inch alloy wheels with Lustre Nickel finish (available as part of the optional custom pack), among other extras. The Mustang can be had in ten exterior colours, including an exclusive Competition Orange and tri-coat Triple Yellow.
