We’re suckers for quick station wagons here at Carscoops and Subaru’s new Levorg S Concept that made its debut at the Tokyo Auto Salon today has our attention.
While Subaru stopped short from calling it a fully-fledged STI model, the S Concept gives the Levorg estate a multitude of STI parts starting from the exterior that’s finished in the sub-brand’s traditional blue color. Did we mention that it comes complete with STI badges?
It has a newly designed front bumper with enlarged air vents and a carbon fiber lip spoiler, a different grille, side skirts, new rear bumper with a diffuser and two large pipes, a roof spoiler, front fender air vents, carbon fiber roof and mirror caps, and 19-inch BBS forged alloy wheels shod in 245/35ZR19 Michelin PSS tires.
The STI treatment continues in the interior that gains a pair of body-hugging bucket seats at the front, red accents, a part-Alcantara flat-bottom steering wheel, a red push-start button, and aluminum pedals.
Subaru says the Levorg S Concept has an STI-tuned suspension and 2.0-liter turbocharged boxer engine paired to a 6sp manual driving all-four wheels, without giving out any performance details.
