Peugeot has launched the 308 Style model in France as a better-equipped, more stylish alternative to standard 308 versions.

Based on the Active trim and borrowing equipment from Allure models, the 308 Style features an updated exterior as well as a wider range of engine options.

Distinctive styling elements include “Style” badging on the front fenders, chrome window frame, 16-inch Topaze aluminum wheels with diamond finish, body colored electrically folding mirrors, fog projectors and tinted lateral windows.

Inside, 308 Style models feature front sports seats and a 9.7-inch multifunction touch screen with radio, Bluetooth and USB connections. Additionally, 308 SW Style versions get aluminum roof bars and a confort pack which includes rear elbow rest and a ski sack.

Optional extras include a navigation system, metallic paint, panoramic roof (for SW models), rearview camera, radio CD, as well as Peugeot Connect SOS and Assistance systems.

In terms of engines, the Peugeot 308 Style brings a new unit, the 1.6 BlueHDi 120 diesel available with either a standard six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed EAT6 automatic gearbox. The other diesel option is the 1.6 HDi 92 BVM5. The petrol engine lineup includes the 1.2 PureTech 82 BVM5 (only for the 308 hatchback) and 1.2 PureTech 110 S&S BVM5.

Prices in France start from €20,800 for the Peugeot 308 Style hatchback and from €23,450 for the 308 SW Style (taxes included).
