For Porsche employees there is no greater honor than to work on the assembly line of the brand’s most sophisticated and desirable car: the 918 Spyder.
Needless to say, only the best workers are responsible for the production of the hybrid hypercar at the company’s sports car plant in Zuffenhausen, Germany.
There’s a reason for that: as you will see in the following video, most of the assembly process requires manual labor, so a steady and capable hand is more than necessary.
The video is a thing of beauty and shows the obsessive attention to detail that is needed for a product as special as the 918 Spyder. Plus, there’s no commentary or soundtrack attached to the video, which makes it even more interesting to watch.
Built in a limited run of 918 units each priced from $1,180,000, the hybrid hypercar is already sold out.
